Job Description
The principal purpose of this job is to ensure the best utilization of the plant as well as raw materials and personnel to make high quality products with the lowest cost that fulfills the needs of the customer and is compliant with the law.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
packaged volumes:
- Make sure that the you have. packaged by brand/pack is conforming to the guidelines
- Bring in full-beer to the warehouse and agree on the number of stock
- Increase the number of hl packed each day according to plan and laid out by standard for efficiency of the factory.
Packaged Quality of the Product:
- Ensure that the process for packaging is monitored so that the highest quality standards are met
- Take corrective action to avoid products that are not of the highest quality and to encourage constant improvement

Productivity:
- Attain and exceed all goals i.e. hours per man hour percent GLY and the hl/factory hour targets • % of LEF; and machine hour goals
- Fixed costs for control, loss of beer and loss of container
- Develop and implement plans that yield the required results, which include machines, equipment maintenance and subordinate deployment
- Manage and motivate human resources and their performance, which includes appraisals of performance and discipline, as well as administration as well as training, IR environment and absenteeism, among others.
- Meet the laid-down safety standards and the statutory requirements
- Make sure the that the packaging line is clean and neat throughout the day.
- Report on efficiencies, downtime and other production-related issues
- Select, recruit and select staff members to be appointed
- Personnel are transferred to another location
- Individual and team goals are established and tracked
Minimum Requirements
- BSc Engineering, or B-Tech Mechanical/Electrical
- The Packaging Training Traineeship (in-house)
- Experience in packaging (high speed equipment and plant)
- Ability to perform shifts
- Understanding of OHS as well as NOSA requirements
- Need to have strong communication, hearing and sight capabilities to perform the job in accordance with instructions.
