Main Purpose of the Job

We are looking for Estate Agents who are observant, focused, and persevering and attentive to detail, yet social and outgoing. The job is about effective selling and marketing of properties and the continued growth in market share while also providing exceptional customer service to ensure you are able to maintain the Pam Golding Properties brand ethos is maintained.
The applicant must possess an active driver’s license and their own vehicle that is reliable along with their own laptop or tablet.
Priority will be given to applicants who live in the Eersteriver region.
Key Responsibilities
- Information regarding property properties (lead generation)
- The canvassing of properties to sell
- Arranging for photos and home staging
- Visit sellers and be able to converse with them about their property and the surrounding area
- Valuation – the ability to use good principles when estimating the value of property
- Plan and participate in show days
- The ability to develop an effective marketing strategy for an investment property
- Represent the seller during negotiations with buyers
- Monitor sales ads and liaise with all the stakeholders, including conveyancers, mortgage brokers, and other estate agents.
- Expertly advise buyers and sellers.
- Staying current with developments in the local market for residential properties and the overall market
Requirements
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Must be able to sustain yourself financially for at least 6 to 8 months before you start earning commission
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must be digitally savvy and comfortable doing business with your mobile phone or device
- Computer literate with sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite
- Register with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB)
- Obtain Intern Agent Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC)
- Complete accredited NQF 4 qualifications
- Compile a Logbook
- Write the PDE Exam
