Requirements
- Matric – Grade 12
- Qualified” Artisan (Trade test) with at least 5 years of experience
- Prior experience in the transportation and logistics
- General administrative duties
- Willing to work shifts and weekends, and on public holidays.
- Solid knowledge of the maintenance and servicing of buses.
- A valid driver’s licence
- A vehicle is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct services on buses,
- Respond to breakdowns, and perform the necessary repairs to the fleet.
- Make sure that the services are performed in accordance with checklists,
- Repairs that occur during breaks are diagnosed and the supervisor is informed,
- Make sure that the vehicles are maintained in accordance to the legal requirements, according to the guidelines and policies.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines when performing a repair or service or attending to a breakdown/accident.
- Make sure that security measures are in place throughout the day.
