Job Responsibilities

- Evaluate needs and provide solutions. Interact with internal as well as external customers.* Respond to feedback and create presentations for stakeholders.
- Establish and utilize collaboration relationships to aid in the achievement of objectives. Maintain and compile industrial, economic and other series of data by conducting research.
- Provide investment advice applying quantitative and qualitative analysis. Identify and interpret the relevant data by using logic to discover causes and effects.
- Contribute to an environment that facilitates the accomplishment of transformation goals by taking part as a participant in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
- Take part and assist in the corporate social responsibility initiative to support the success of business goals. Recognize and suggest ways to improve processes, policies and systems; and help in the development of new processes; procedures and policies.
- Evaluate the performance of investment funds through periodic reviews of financial performance.
- Develop proficiency in software to produce the required outputs.
- Communicate ideas or information clearly in writing so that the message can be understood by reader.
- Develop solid industry and product knowledge, as well as knowing of the framework for regulation.
- Stay informed of any laws and other changes in the industry which affect your role by reading relevant newspapers as well as attending seminars.
- Understand and accept and embrace the Nedbank vision and communicate the principles through interactions with the team and other stakeholders.
- Increase personal capacity and keep abreast of changes in the field of expertise selecting training courses and advancement in career by providing feedback and input from managers
- Ensure personal development and ensure the effectiveness of fulfilling the responsibilities and roles by ensuring that all learning activities are completed, experience is practiced and / or certifications are obtained and kept within the timeframes specified.
- Ensure that information is given in a correct manner to all stakeholders, by keeping the knowledge of stakeholders and sharing information with the team.

Graduate degree completed OR currently enrolled in final year of completion of four-year degree, majoring in: Degree postgraduate (Honours or Master’s) with a focus on:
