Requirements
HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist (Clinical Pathology) (Required), National Diploma in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology) / the BHs MS (Degree from the The Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences) (Required). 1-2 years working experience within a pathology environment
Key Responsibilities
Maintain positive client relations to help promote Ampath’s image. Ampath and perform administrative tasks to establish efficient administrative procedures in the laboratory. Conduct Quality Control procedures within the laboratory to ensure the best practices are adhered to. Perform routine bench work in the laboratory to ensure the efficient processing of specimens. Provide technical assistance to the lab to ensure efficiency of the flow of specimens and quick results from specimens. Training laboratory staff to ensure that they continue their improvement and training
