Purpose Of Job
Keeps track of the quantities and types of materials received, stock and issued and prepares materials to be issued against inventory requisition received. Maintains an the inventory of materials received in stock and issued. Checks the goods at time of delivery to determine the degree in quality as well as quantity. assures that the specifications are met.
Qualification
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 3
- Three years of experience working in the retail environment.
- A thorough understanding of the control of inventory and warehouse operations.
- A proven track record of providing top customer service.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
Skills
Skills in clerical. Communication and customer service abilities. Thinking critically. A thorough understanding about Inventory Control principles and cycle counting process. Working with Syspro. Ability to perform tasks under pressure and stress. Ability to manage many tasks. Ability to work as part of an organization of individuals. Great ability to complete other tasks such as writing, filing and answering phones.
