Join our dedicated group in the role of one of our Shift Manager Mining. This Shift Supervisor Mining will be accountable for coordinating, planning managing and controlling the resources in the mining section, to ensure the safety and efficient production for the specific section of the shaft.

Job Description

• Each day’s adherence to the completion of the site-specific supervisor’s logbook that is assigned to the specific area of responsibility (Legal document).
• Conform to the organisational and legislative safety regulations by maintaining the proper methods, procedures, and standards.
• Conducting incident and accident investigations and implementing the necessary safeguards to avoid reoccurrence.
• Assure that the Miner/s he is responsible for respects the design of the mine and practices that are suited with the cycle of mining.
• Purchase equipment, supplies and make sure there isn’t any waste of materials.
• Check and ensure that the Time and Attendance system and any other pertinent Payroll issues are taken care of.
• Make sure that effective discipline is in place and you are in respect for The Company Code of Conduct.
• It was adhered to a weekly, daily and monthly plans.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Blasting Certificate
• Shift Supervisor Certificate
• Certified Competent A & B
• Minimum 5 years of Shift supervisor working with an underground mine. Conventional underground mining.
• Computer Literacy
