Requirements
- A valid National Diploma in Automation, Electronics or Instrumentation, or registration with the registry as pr Techni Eng.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience following registration.
- Computer Literacy Microsoft Office
- A valid driving certificate (Code08 EB/B)
Key Performance Areas
- Maintain automated systems in order to ensure constant water collection and treatment of sufficient quality to satisfy the legal standards.
- Plan upgrades for automation to ensure the Branch utilizes the appropriate technology and best practices in the field so that it can be proactive and decrease downtime to minimize costs and maximize the quality of service. Automated upgrades should be implemented to ensure that the projects are completed in a timely manner, according to specifications, and within budget to ensure that the branch can fulfill its obligations to deliver services.
- Manage the resources of staff by monitoring and regulating the outcomes related to utilisation and productivity of employees working in this section. Automation Section, in order to ensure that a culture that encourages and sustains the motivational level efficiency, productivity, and improving the quality of life at work is nurtured and maintained and enables the department to fulfill its objectives in delivering services.
- Ensure that the calibration system is in place.
