Clerk Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient clerk to be part of the Settlement team. As a crucial position you will be responsible for that funeral documents are properly verified. documents, assuring the accuracy, compliance and prompt processing. Your contribution will directly affect the effectiveness of our processes and ensure that our customers need are taken care of with the greatest attention to detail.

- Verify all funeral orders received by email from funeral homes to ensure that the order is correct and that all pertinent documents are included.
- Record all details on BB130 as per funeral type and the order number.
- Make sure to report any deviations or discrepancies to the department’s head or senior clerk.
- Complete documentation quickly according to the month’s schedule and ensure that documentation is completed on time for the month-end process.
- Supply the necessary statistics to management when required.
- Processing journals, debits and credits in a timely manner.
- Answer questions from representatives about documentation that is sent to the headquarters, or as instructed by the management.
- Be informed of any the latest changes to procedures, policies and circulars.
- Inform branches of funeral orders to be submitted in time for submission of VIP requests.

Job Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in administration.
- Experience with data collection.
- Computing skills (proficient with Microsoft Office or similar tools).
- Communication skills that are strong (both written and verbal).
- You must be able to be under pressure and pay focus on the details.
