ARC Vacancies Requirements
- Ph.D. with a focus on Biochemistry.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience with biochemical methods (Mass spectrometry, Chromatography Electrophoresis Purification of proteins, Western Blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent tests (ELISA) as well as Enzymology.
- Minimum of 3 peer reviewed publication.
- Technology Transfer Participate in advisory and training assistance under the supervision of.
- A registration with an organization that is professional and scientific is an additional benefit.
- An established track record of achievement for creating external revenue for projects that meet the guidelines for Master’s and PhD levels. This is backed by a track experience in writing proposals for Masters or PhD studies.
- Experienced in participating as national speaker as part of Masters and PhD levels. You must demonstrate the ability to present research findings.
- A proven track record of managing financials of projects.
- Proven track record of mentoring and supervising/co-supervising other researchers and students.
- Communication skills that are effective (written or verbal).
- Valid South African Code B (08/10) driver’s license.
