Required Skills
The ideal candidate is pro-active and possess an appropriate post-matric qualification in dairy manufacturing at or above NQF 4 levels.
- Computer literate
- A minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory capacity is required.
- Understanding of BPSC and Mass Balancer systems
- Able to build and manage an effective team
- Understanding of interpersonal relationships organization awareness and direction are beneficial.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage GMP Mass Balancing Milk Blending, as well as Milk UF/RO
- Design and take part in actions that improve Fat and Protein loss
- Participate in all activities that result in a reduction in expenses.
- Ensure discipline and conformity with the general rules
- In collaboration with staff from the Maintenance department in order to make sure everything is in top working order at all times.
- Control the quality control points and make sure that test and samples are carried out in accordance with standards.
- Control all BPCS transactions
- Budget control
- Maintain a culture of high-quality production in which everyone is proud of their accomplishments.
- Plan training sessions or renewal sessions to ensure that employers are aware of ISO, HACCP and NOSA procedures at least every year.
- Make sure that all administrative responsibilities (control or checksheets) are completed according to the requirements.
- Compile and assess key performance Areas of those who report to you.
- Control KRONOS on every day basis
- Prepare reports, and report about deviations along with the reasons, and actions plans
