About The Role
As an instructor in the trainer process you will be accountable to follow The Competency Declaration framework through planning and providing training, assessments, and certification to help meet organizational goals.
- Plan and lead classroom instruction.
- Perform on-the-job instruction and coaching of Supervisors and Process Operators.
- Perform Mineral Process assessment and confirm competence.
- Moderate assessments when needed.
- Planned PTOs for plant supervisors in accordance with the training requirements.
- An analysis of the need for conduct if necessary
- Be sure to conduct planned task observations and training verifications in accordance with CDF
- Review and revise relevant educational materials.
- Continually improve methods and training materials
- Implement and oversee individual projects.
- Advise and give direction for employees and line personnel on training legislation.
Qualifications for this role are
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent;
- ODETDP Level 4;
- MQA Accredited Assessor
- Mineral processing Certificate (NQF 3.) Or Metallurgy/chemical Engineering qualifications
- Moderator’s Certificate (Advantageous)
