This position is located within the FML Business Area within WesBank. The incumbent is responsible for the collection the analysis and management of data, customer and process requirements, as well as business and technical requirements for high-level to medium complex projects. They will be accountable to create innovative business solutions that will meet the requirements of WesBank customers, business clients and technology.
They will assist in the creation of these solutions and ensure that the solution provided to Business is in line with the requirements that were initially set in the problem definition. They will also carry out essential project management tasks related to the business analysis components of projects, such as estimation, planning, and managing risk and issues. Business Analysts Business Analyst will be expected to be able to work in a team and capable of advising the team on design and solutions. This job requires a degree of maturity at the senior level required to interact with stakeholders and take informed decisions that allow the development of efficient solutions and give more to clients.

- Make sure that the appropriate stakeholders are included in the gathering of business requirements. Get the required information from stakeholders, record information, validate and control business requirements.
- Prioritizes needs by analyzing factors such as business systems, time, and system limitations.
- Design transitions to Platform consumption. This is the most important experience needed
- Make sure that the models and requirements are in compliance with the quality standards.
- Check that the specifications are a full description of the needs of the company.
- Controls and monitors the quality of analysis outputs from the team or own by providing timely information on the risks and challenges that affect personal progress.
- Sets expectations with parties regarding the team’s delivery of analyses and outputs.
- Implements business processes in accordance with benchmarks and Shared Values.
- Review and analysis of the efficiency in business procedures.
- Examines the internal delivery of service processes and suggests creative ideas, or joins working groups to streamline and improve procedures, increase revenues, improve efficiency and reduce the amount of redundancy and wasted.

You’ll be a perfect candidate if you
- You must have a strong understanding of business analysis in solving for business-related issues and business analysis qualifications from an accredited college or university.
- Are you able to be creative in designing solutions for business customers.
- Can estimate your analysis delivery.
- Are able to document various kinds of needs for businesses, e.g., Functional vs. Business vs. Information.
- Management of stakeholder interests across different sectors within FirstRand Group – and even externally.
- I have worked on large projects in which several Business Requirements Specifications as well as Specifications for Functional Requirements were created.
WesBank Vacancies Qualification:
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems or Technology or in a related technical or business area.
- Honors degrees from a university in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent professional or technical area.
- Diploma in Business Analysis.
- A valid professional certification or membership in a professional bodies is recommended (e.g., IIBA).
- 8-10 years of solving technological and business issues through design, analysis, and the implementation of business solutions in the context of a project.
- Experience with delivering business analysis for large projects and programs
