Grade 4 Teacher Job Description

What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:
- An academic and professional education certificate from an accredited institution.
- Experience relevant in the field of teaching the subjects of Grade 4 in all grades
- Priority is given to those who have previous experience teaching Afrikaans FAL.
- The current SACE registration.
- Experience with CAPS.
- An unambiguous criminal record.
The responsibilities are:
- Control, plan track and report on assessment results.
- Participate in forums, meetings, and workshops to learn about the grades/phases as necessary.
- Create an environment that is educational within the class.
- You are responsible for any school equipment or stock of the class.
- Assist the teachers in the grades/phases to ensure that the proper management of the grades/phase.
- Assist, plan, and manage and encourage learning and teaching in the classroom.
- Plan, manage, and assist and encourage programs (sport as well as culture) within the school.
- Assist, manage, and encourage discipline in the phases/grades.
- Assist with sports and other admin tasks whenever the need arises.
- A personal commitment to education and the desire to be a part of the ethos and values at the school.
