Duties & Responsibilities
- Visual Inspection:
-Inspections by visuals on granola batch to find any foreign objects, such as metal, plastic or any other contaminants.
-Utilizing basic tools such as magnifying glasses for more precise examinations. - Assisting in Detection Equipment:
-Assisting with the operation of X-ray detectors, metal detectors machines and other equipment for detection in the direction of an Quality Control inspector.
-Making sure that the equipment functions in a way that is correct and reporting any problems. - Sampling and Testing:
-Collection of random samples from batches of production for further examination and testing by quality control staff.
-Assisting in the basic testing procedure as instructed. - Documentation and Reporting:
-Maintaining records of inspection results and notifying any contamination or foreign object to the supervisor.
-Assisting in the maintenance of precise documentation to ensure quality control. - Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety:
-Ensure that the area of inspection is tidy and well-organized.
-Follow safety guidelines to avoid the spread of disease and ensure your personal safety. - Supporting Quality Control Team:
-Helping out members of the Quality Control team with various tasks when needed.
-Involving in sessions of training to keep current on procedures for quality control and the best methods. - Tools and Equipment:
-Magnifying Glasses for thorough visual examinations.
-Basic Equipment for Detection Helping by X-ray machine and detectors made of metal.
-Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): To protect yourself during inspections.
Qualifications
- Grade 9 or Grade 10
- Attention to Details Ability to recognize small imperfections as well as foreign items.
- Essential Technical Knowledge Basic tools for inspection and the desire to master how to utilize detectors.
- Communications Skills Capability to communicate findings clearly and precisely.
- Teamwork Ability to collaborate together with Quality Control team.
