Purpose

The purpose of this 12 months graduate programme is to provide support to the Finance department to ensure successful implementation of business initiatives or programmes that meet SABC’s objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have completed their Accounting/Financial Management National Diploma or Bcom Degree in Accounting/Financial Management and looking to enhance their skills and experience in the work environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma/Degree in Accounting /Financial Management or related discipline (NQF 6/7).

Knowledge

  • Fixed Assets experience
  • To keep abreast of changes in the marketplace in order to ensure that the SABC keeps up to date with the latest financial developments.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant accounting changes.
  • Computer literacy: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint;  SAP
  • PFMA
  • IFRS knowledge
  • Advanced Excel
  • Ability to deal with all levels of staff, management, external parties 
  • Self-Starter 
  • Must pay attention to detail 
  • Must have an analytical mind
