Job Description
Manages a small – to moderately-sized team of advisors to establish, manage and build relationships with potential and current clients in order to boost and manage the demand of financial services and products.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
- The local action plan should be communicated Explain how this is connected to the organization’s strategy and action plan, as well as to the overall goals and mission; encourage employees to reach the local goals of business.
Customer Relationship Management / Management of Accounts
- Create and implement a relationship management strategy for customer accounts that are already in place to establish and strengthen relationships with key decision makers and influential individuals within the customer’s organization and enable a smooth two-way information flow and resolution of problems. Gather feedback from customers or segments of customers to ensure that their needs are being met. Provide topics, brief analysis, and suggestions to make changes based on the feedback from customers.
Sell Customer Propositions to Customers
- Utilize your own expertise to determine the more complex products or services offered by the business that meet the requirements of the client, along with the quantities and configurations of products. Then, present these to the customer with a clear explanation and with the standard commercial price, making reference to senior employees when it is necessary to request concessions (e.g. price reduction) which get the customer’s approval.
Sales Opportunities Creation
- Discover potential customers by collecting information, references, or recommendations from your existing customers or other contacts, and/or by taking part in trade events and shows.
Performance Management
- In line with personal goals, utilize performance management systems to boost personal performance or track your performance as a team, assign tasks and evaluate their completion then take the appropriate corrective action to ensure the timeliness as well as quality, and then contribute to the formal management of individual performance and appraisal.
Operations Management
- Offer support for operations and may also serve as the first-line manager of transactions in an area. Utilizes the existing protocols and systems.
Promoting Customer Attitude
- Assist in the development of internal communications, and work in conjunction with colleagues to establish solid relationships with customers from the outside and address the needs of customers.
Key Account Management
- Offer specialized assistance and support for accounts that are new or existing according to the policies and procedures of your organization. Respond to customer queries that are complex as well as assist senior colleagues in managing and maintain relationships with customers.
Customer Relationship Development/Prospecting
- Create and implement a customer contact plan that will communicate new launch announcements and involve prospective clients in appropriate sales promotions to establish new connections. As the primary point for customer inquiries and complaints, and then resolve them by referring difficult problems to other people and ensuring that the customer gets a prompt response.
Budgeting
- Report variances to budgets and monitor budgets to senior colleagues.
Organizational Building Capability
- Coach team members in order to improve their abilities.
