Requirements
An appropriate trade Test Certificate in Electrical. A minimum of five years after qualification as an artist. Valid Driver’s License. Current driver’s license (C1). Skills and Knowledge Legislation as well as Public Service Regulations, Knowledge of SLAs, knowledge of compliance with law, knowledge of electrical installations. Experience with electrical components. Experience with power equipment. Experience with electrical analogs. computer skills, communication creativity, planning and managing conflict and organizing.
Duties
Make sure that the workshop or building facilities (Electrical) have been tested and conform to safety standards. Make sure that you have certificates of compliance. Ensure that safety regulations and procedures are placed in and around the building/workshop areas and implemented. Make sure that electrical components and equipment are clearly identified and clearly visible to visitors. Ensure repair and replacement of damaged or leaky lights or loose components and parts. Provide proper maintenance for the equipment and machines. Maintain and promote cleanliness of equipment, machines and the areas prior to and after use. Prepare reports on the performance of all machines and equipment. Conduct regular checks of electrical equipment and facilities for technical faults, and document the issues to be repaired. Conduct testing and evaluation of electrical and mechanical repaired facilities or equipment according to specified OEM specifications. Check that plant equipment and facilities are being maintained in accordance with the OEM schedules, if they are covered by warranties or department specifications if they are not covered by warranties. Quality assurance ensures maintained and serviced equipment and facilities, and then submits a reports to the supervisor that include suggestions. Keep and develop the knowledge base.
