Duties & Responsibilities
Under the supervision of Security Operations Manager Security Operations, the successful candidate is responsible for providing physical security to ensure the safety of the property, employees and other information, the stakeholders, pertinent RAF offices and hospitals, in accordance with the geographical coverage.
Qualifications and Experience
- National Diploma in Security Management similar qualification.
- PSIRA Grading.
- Security Management Certificate (SSA) an added benefit.
- Experience of 4 years in a security setting.
Key Performance Areas
Crime and Loss Prevention
- Supervise control room operation.
- Monitor CCTV and fire detection systems panic alarms, fire detection and communications devices, PA system Access control and UPS generator systems.
- In the event an emergencies.
- Access control monitor (programming issuing, enabling, and disabling accessible disks).
- Monitor the security records in all areas.
- Examine security breaches and compile reports.
- Take care to conduct a security threat assessment (TRA)
- Create efficient access control steps.
- Make post orders to security staff.
- Check a security-guarding agreement.
Reporting
- Participate in the preparation and submit Regulation reports.
- Help in the creation in the development of systems for reporting functional for project management, and performance reports.
- Regularly and regularly and make the necessary submissions as and when needed to give updates on progress or to inform management of decision-making.
Event Security
- Security services should be coordinated for Boardand ministerial sessions.
- Use Close protection required.
- Security coordination during RAF authorized off-site activities.
- Control contract security at all RAF activities.
- Check and examine the transport claim documents.
- Make sure there is Security and Security of stakeholders.
- Guard and escort RAF assets during road construction projects.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain positive and enlightened relationships with the key stakeholders.
- Respond to queries as well as requests to provide information, both from external and internal parties.
