Job Description

Coca Cola Beverages South Africa provides a wonderful opportunity inside our Sales & Marketing Department. We are seeking people with the right expertise and prior experiences to fulfill six Key Account Manager Groceries roles, as in addition to one Key Account Manager On Prem job.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Growth in Margin and Revenue Goals: Meet and beat goals for margin and revenue growth by implementing a tactical approach to account management and optimization of categories
  • Customer Growth and Satisfaction Growth and Customer Satisfaction Improve relationships with important accounts, resulting in greater customer satisfaction as well as growth in business
  • The Campaign Execution Help to ensure the execution of successful campaigns for promotion, resulting in increased market share and better KPIs for the National and Regional accounts
  • Affiliation of Stakeholders Make sure that all external and internal stakeholders are aligned and are supportive of the implementation of plans for customers
  • New Product Announces New Product Launches Secure listings and increase sales for new launches of products for key account customers
  • Finance Management Financial Management Maintain optimal financial health of the crucial accounts, while working with the finance department in order to address pricing claims as well as other financial problems
  • Corporate Governance Conform to Coca-Cola standardization and practice the highest standards of governance

Skills, Experience & Education

  • An official qualification in Sales, Marketing or a similar field.
  • 6-8 years of experience as a manager in sales within an FMCG setting
  • Expertise in managing important accounts in the FMCG setting and focusing on margin and revenue growth
  • Experimented with success in negotiating trading conditions and managing client relations
  • A familiarity with the business models of customers as well as market trends and competitors’ activities
  • A deep understanding of the principles of marketing and sales to increase revenue and improve business plans
  • The ability to establish strong, productive relations with key account customers and ensures mutual business success
  • Negotiation skills that are strong and with the ability to resolve disagreements diplomatically, while ensuring positive relations
  • The ability to anticipate trends in the future develop competitive strategies and develop customer strategies to drive growth for the business
  • A thorough understanding of the corporate policies along with market trends and strategies of competitors
  • A strong focus on delivering results via the effective implementation of marketing campaigns, business plans, as well as promotional strategies
  • Experienced in the use of electronic platforms as well as systems to manage customer accounts and monitoring the performance of customers.
