Minimum Required Qualification
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults).
- Valid EC (Code 14) driver’s license.
- PDP “G” and “P” drivers permit.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a related role.
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Clear security screening record.
- Valid Mine License to operate TMM
- Valid Truck Crane, Mine, Hall Road, Vehicle Hall Road Permit or Forklift license (if required).
Key Responsibilities
- Employ trucks in a secure and efficient way to limit the chance of injury, property damage, or death.
- Make sure your load is secure before leaving.
- Be accountable for the items being transported.
- Follow the general traffic rules and mining rules and rules and.
- Responsible for their own Health and Safety and others.
- Send or collect materials from and to clients.
- Make sure that the material is securely secured in accordance with safety standards.
- Achieve even weight distribution and ensure that trucks are not overloaded.
- Be sure to ensure that materials are delivered in a timely manner.
- Do loading of the material.
- Verify the accuracy of load in accordance to the documentation.
- Use a truck Crane whenever needed.
- Make sure that the company’s assets are safe (vehicle as well as stock).
- Make daily safety and maintenance check-ups.
- Check that the vehicle is always in good working condition.
- Be sure to review all vehicle defaults with the supervisor responsible for. * Make sure that the vehicle is maintained and clean.
