SANParks Internship Graduate
If you’re a graduate looking for real work experience in nature, this might be your next move. SANParks is now offering a 24-month internship. If you’ve dreamed of working in conservation, tourism, or HR, this SANParks Internship based in Kruger National Park might be your perfect break. The roles are fully paid, run for 24 months, and are open to unemployed South African graduates aged 18 to 35.

South African National Parks (SANParks) looks after the country’s top parks. Their work covers tourism, wildlife, and nature care. As an intern, you learn from experts who protect South Africa’s natural spaces.
SANParks Internship Roles & Fields
There are three available positions, each tied to a specific office and department:
- Human Capital Management
Location: Phalaborwa Office
Qualification: HR Management (Diploma to Master’s) - Labour Relations
Location: Corporate Skukuza
Qualification: HR or Labour Relations (Diploma to Master’s) - Hospitality Services
Location: Tourism Skukuza
Qualification: Hospitality/Tourism Management (Diploma to Master’s)
Monthly Stipend ranges from R6,355.69 to R10,486.58, depending on your qualification level.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a South African citizen, aged 18–35
- Hold a completed National Diploma, Degree, Honours or Master’s (NQF 6–9)
- Never have I taken part in an internship or placement programme
- Be currently unemployed
