Requirements
- A B.Tech degree in Project Management.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr CPM) with SACPCMP.
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate or directly applicable and acceptable experience in an electricity generation/ distribution system and project management environment with exposure to a wide range of technologies.
- Exposure to a project implementation and management environment.
- A high degree of computer literacy.
- Valid Driver’s licence: Code B.
Key Performance Areas
- Develops integrated frameworks to guide project phases, processes, activities, and resources aligned with corporate and business unit requirements.
- Researches, analyses, and disseminates information to support decisions and direction of projects, using agreed methodologies, systems, and standards.
- Coordinates project processes for collaboration and integrationacross multiple business units and stakeholders.
- Implements projects according to necessary project managementtechnical skills, including Perspective, People, and Practice Competencies.
- Assists in designing and implementing systems and procedures for risk management, stakeholder management, project governance, planning, and execution management.
- Manages project resources and capabilities to enhance project compliance, governance, efficiency, and service delivery to the customer.
- Monitors and reports on stage-gate reviews, budgetary, performance, compliance, and risk-related matters.
- Reviews divisional project statuses and provides guidance to address emerging issues.
- Coordinates project administration services (administrative, logistical, financial, contract management) to ensure efficient project execution.
