About the role:
Chommies is seeking an enthusiastic, detailed intern to assist our E-commerce Head. This is an opportunity to learn hands-on opportunity for those who are studying e-commerce, digital advertising or another related area. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day operation for our store online, marketing campaigns on digital and the management of customer data and gain practical experience in a expanding company.

Essential Responsibilities
Help with keeping the store up-to date and maintained Chommies online store
Support the head of E-commerce in his the daily tasks of e-commerce and administration
– Assist in the execution and planning of Digital marketing programs (email or paid advertisements, etc.)
– Clean and arrange the customer’s data for CRM and email marketing
– Ensure that the product descriptions are up-to-date and visually appealing
Perform tracking and reporting for support
Assist in the execution of strategies and tactics to boost conversion rates to improve customer satisfaction and increase overall sales
– Be curious, study and ask questions.
Requirements
currently studying digital marketing, E-commerce, digital advertising or any related area (part of your degree or internship program preferred)
A keen eye for particulars and a keen curiosity about the technical aspects of digital
– Experienced working using spreadsheets, email tools and online platforms
– Good communication skills
– Active, collaborative and open to learning
– Available for work in-person with us at in-person at our Cape Town HQ (110 Hatfield Street)
