SARS Vacancies About the Role
This full-time position reports to the Senior Manager of Engineering (Innovation). You’ll work closely with the Envisioning Lab to turn raw data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decisions. Your work will directly support SARS innovation and planning goals.
SARS Vacancies Qualification
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in fields like IT, Computer Science, or Statistics with 8–10 years of experience in data-related roles. Candidates without a degree may still qualify if they have a Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 15 years of proven experience.
You’ll need strong experience in:
- SQL, Power BI or Tableau
- Data modelling and analytics
- Advanced Excel and data visualization tools
- Python/R, etc.

- Analyse large datasets to identify patterns and trends
- Build dashboards, models, and reports that support decisions
