Requirements

  • Three year National Diploma in Road Transport Management
  • Diesel Mechanic/Construction Plant/Heavy Plant/Earthmoving Trade Certificate (Advantageous).
  • 5-8 years’ experience as at an appropriate level as per KPA’s below.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • A valid Code C or EC driver’s licence.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as well as weekends.

Key Performance Areas

Functional Admin Support:

  • Supporting operations with technical issues in connection with vehicle monitoring and electronic fuel systems, tracking systems management system and assembling relevant management information.
  • Maintenance and updating of SAP master database.
  • Examining the budget allocations to specific purchases, Interventions and/or activities.
  • to purchase equipment for vehicles and Consumables.
  • Technical specifications to be drafted in relation to on-board computer specifications.
  • Management of performance for contracts awarded i.e. technical compliance.
  • Conduct, attendance output and address Detours from established performance metrics.
  • Assessing the quality and availability of personnel as well as The definition of skill gap and the requirements for training.
