Description
The hiring decision will be based on the Employment Equity Plan of the company. Duties
- Service and repairs to the complete variety of Bell equipment:
– pre delivery inspections
Basic repairs and component replacement
– strip & assemble engines, transmissions, axles, pumps etc
Complete all necessary paperwork e.g. Service record, time sheets Recommended service guide installation certificate, report on condition, etc. - Follow and comply with Health and Safety rules as stipulated by the company
Requirements
- Candidates are required to have a Red Seal Qualified Earthmoving Mechanic with a minimum score of N2 engineering science, trade theory applied maths, engineering drawing.
- Basic auto diagnostic capabilities for hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Expertise in the heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with valid code 10.
- Priority will be given to those who have Bell and JCB expertise.
- Candidates must own their own tools.
