Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Information Systems from an ECSA recognised institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- At least 8 years relevant post qualification experience in ADMS and SCADA Master Station systems.
- Extensive managerial and communication experience.
- Financial analysis and ERP competency.
- A high degree of computer literacy.
- A valid B or EB driver’s license.
Key Performance Areas
- Providing the vision and direction with regards the immediate, medium and long term operational and system implementation objectives of the ADMS Management systems.
- Directs and controls the outcomes associated with the utilisation, productivity and performance of personnel within ADMS.
- Prepares capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
- Manages the formulation of specific contracts and tender documents and controls contractual obligations.
- Provides the vision, and directs the implementation, for all ADMS resources and technologies within the directorate.
- Manage the implementation and operation of a Cyber Security framework for the ADMS.
- Directs and controls the professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with the functions related to the operation
of an ADMS. - Manages access to the ADMS information, ensuring data acquired by the SCADA system is available to all corporate
customers authorized to access the information. - Planning and providing relevant training for staff and end users.
- Directs and ensures version control of ADMS documentation and software to ensure that the latest software versions are available for Network Control Centre.
- Manages and co-ordinates specific administrative and reporting requirements regarding the implementation of procedures and systems associated with communication.
