Purpose of the Job
Senwes Equipment is looking for sales clerks who are willing to offer a reliable service of sales for spare parts to customers, while ensuring satisfaction while helping to improve an efficient sales cycle.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide Efficient Customer Service
- Establish and maintain good relations with customers.
- Record and report specific customer needs and requests.
- Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform Sales Activities
- Process and handle customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Identify and order spare parts according to customer needs.
- Perform counter sales and provide efficient after-sales service in line with company policies.
- Promote sales through parts-related telephone calls.
- Learn and assist in promoting parts sales during exhibits.
- Identify and report lost sales to the management team.
- Assist with Stock Control
- Ensure stock and the work area remain neat and clean at all times.
- Learn and assist in merchandising stock and support the sales clerks in this duty.
- Pack and pick stock from the shelves efficiently.
- Perform ongoing stock balancing to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Experience in the agricultural part of the of the environment will be considered.
- Basic technical and product-specific knowledge that relates to the sale of parts.
- Basic understanding of the stock control process.
- Basic understanding of catalogues of parts and the Equip system.
- A thorough knowledge of the agricultural machinery industry.
- Proficient selling skills and excellent ability to provide customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Basic financial literacy and computer literacy abilities.
- Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.
