Requirements

  • Post-graduate degree in Business/Tourism/Commerce
  • MBA in Business/Tourism/Commerce (desirable)
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of in the management level in the field of tourism/hospitality Commercial Operations Management.
  • Experience with PFMA
  • An understanding of tourism development practices is an additional benefit
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyze the effectiveness of business models and make an analytical decision using rules

Responsibilities

    • Create, align and ensure an efficient implementation of KNP commercial operations through the means by providing leadership, direction and structure frameworks, models, and plans.
    • Find out the areas that could benefit from commercial or revenue development in the parks.
    • Manage and monitor the commercial tourism operations to ensure that they run at optimum efficiency.
    • Explore opportunities together with Business Development Unit and maintain connections with existing PPPs.
    • Make sure that you have a solid collection analysis, analysis, and utilization of data in order to guarantee consistent quality of service to clients, commercial results, and revenue goals.
    • oversee the creation the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of SOPs and policies in support of the hospitality and commercial strategies.
    • Make sure that the stakeholder and contract are in good management that is in line with the commercial plan.
    • Assist in the creation of visitor management, interpreters, as well as the camping.
    • Make sure that tourism standards are implemented and monitoring of performance and the planned renovation.
    • In collaboration in conjunction with Technical Services Department, oversee the management and maintenance of the tourism infrastructure.
    • Control the efficient management and expansion of KNP activities in the adventure sector.
    • Assist in the development and diversification of tourist products (this should be at the top five) together along with Tourism Standards department to ensure that there are consistent quality standards in tourist products.
    • Create a marketing strategy and then implement the plan from initial idea to implementation.
