Role Overview

This job is perfect for an enthusiastic, communicative and organized person who wants to start their career in sales, internal sales, and customer service in the technical setting. The intern will help the sales team within the internal as well as the external sales team by coordinating follow-ups to quotes as well as helping with introductions to customers and managing the key functions of sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with customer introductions and account engagement under the guidance of the internal sales team.
  • Follow up on quotations and liaise with clients to ensure timely feedback.
  • Provide general support to field sales representatives.
  • Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate internal communication between departments related to sales activities.
  • Prepare and send basic customer communications or follow-up emails as needed.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) – a completed tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Admin, or Engineering is advantageous.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Interest in industrial equipment or technical sales is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
