The candidate who is selected will join the Finance department and assist The Group Tax Manager with the overall tax process, compliance, and the efficient management of all tax issues within the Group.

You Bring:
- Matric.
- Finance related – Post graduate degree/CA (SA) advantageous).
- Four to five years of experience in taxation in a similar position.
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
Financial Metrics
- Review of tax returns and calculations including Income Tax, Provisional Tax and VAT.
- Supervise SARS audits and external audits. Report on the findings.
- Conduct tax health checks as needed.
- Connect with SARS and respond to SARS questions.
- Be knowledgeable of the tax system in general i.e. Income Tax; Vat, PAYE, WHT.
- Offer tax education.
- Review and assist in the preparation for VDP applications.
- Review and assist with the preparation for the preparation SARS rulings.
- Investigate tax-related issues that arise from time to time to determine and suggest solutions.
- International tax – Provide assistance to the Group Tax Manager on international tax compliance as well as other questions.
- Be aware of controls and tax risks context and the capability to record tax procedures and test control procedures.
- Offer tax assistance and assistance to tax teams as well as the finance team.
- Work with consultants for technical issues, tax advice, etc.
- Assist the Group Tax Manager and CFO with tax projects as requested.
